  • What are the show dates and exhibit hours?

  • How do I book my hotel?

    Book online through Expovision, the official Hotel Reservation Office for PACK EXPO International and Healthcare Packaging EXPO, to enjoy discounted room rates and shuttle service between your hotel and McCormick Place. Please be aware of unofficial housing vendors.

  • Will there be shuttle bus service from the hotels to the convention center?

    Yes. Complimentary shuttle buses will run between official PACK EXPO International and Healthcare Packaging EXPO hotels and McCormick Place from 7:00 am – 10:30 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm every day of the show. Service will also be available for PACK gives BACK and the Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network breakfast.

  • Can I take the Metra to McCormick Place?

    Yes, Metra train service is available between downtown Chicago and McCormick Place and attendees receive a free Metra pass to use during show dates. For further information on Metra, including schedules visit http://metrarail.com/metra/en/home.html.

  • How do I reserve a scooter/wheelchair?

    Scootaround, Inc. is the official onsite provider of wheelchairs and scooters at the show. Visit http://www.scootaround.com/rentals/packexpo for more information and to make a reservation.

Exhibitor Questions

  • How can I become an exhibitor at PACK EXPO International or Healthcare Packaging EXPO 2020?

    Space is currently assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once your application is received, a member of the Show Department will contact you to assign your booth space.

     

     

  • What is the cost per square foot to exhibit?

    The base rate is $30.25 per square foot. PMMI member space rates vary. If you are a PMMI Member and would like to know your space rate, please call 571-612-3200.

    Drayage/material handling is included in your space rate provided your shipment/truck checks in at McCormick Place by 2 pm on your assigned target move-in date. See the Rules & Regulations and the Exhibitor Service Manual (Available June 2020) for additional information and special assessment pricing.

  • What is drayage?

    Drayage is the moving of the exhibitor’s machinery, etc., off the exhibitor’s truck at the dock to the exhibitor’s booth and back to the dock to be loaded back onto the truck. This is included in the price of the exhibitor’s booth space.

  • What is the payment schedule for booth space?

    In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2nd payment deadline (50% of booth space fee) was extended to May 4, 2020 and the final 25% payment is now due August 1, 2020. When reserving a booth after May 4 and prior to August 2020, 75% of the booth space fee is due with the space application. Full payment is due with the space application for any booths reserved after August 1, 2020.

  • How can I improve my priority point standing?

    Each exhibitor is assigned a priority point for space selection. PACK EXPO International, PACK EXPO Las Vegas, Healthcare Packaging EXPO, ProFood Tech and PACK EXPO East hold separate priority standings. By exhibiting continuously, and those ahead of you in priority not exhibiting, an exhibitor begins to move up the priority point system. Choosing not to exhibit at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, ProFood Tech or PACK EXPO East does not affect your PACK EXPO International priority.

  • What are the height regulations?

    Booths 599 sq. feet and under are allowed a max height of 12' and HANGING SIGNS ARE NOT PERMITTED. Booths 600-1499 sq. feet are allowed a max height of 14' for all display material including hanging signs, and booths 1500 sq. feet and above are allowed a max height of 18' for all display material including hanging signs.   • Can I change my target move-in date?

    Target Change Requests: If your company is unable to adhere to the scheduled inbound or outbound dates assigned, please complete the Target Change Request Form and email the completed form to [email protected] by Friday, October 16, 2020. 

  • How many complimentary booth personnel badges do we receive?

    Exhibitors receive one (1) complimentary booth personnel badge for every 75 sq. ft. of contracted space or fraction thereof. E.g., 100 sq. ft. = 2 badges, 200 sq. ft. = 3 badges, etc.

  • What is my Exhibitor Dashboard login ID?

    The Show Contact for your company will receive an email with an ID and password to log in to your Exhibitor Dashboard. If you have not received this password or are having trouble logging in, please have the Show Contact call the PMMI Show Department at 571-612-3200 or email [email protected]. Passwords can only be given out to the Show Contact on file.

  • How do I populate my company information for inclusion in the online directory?

    Go to the Exhibitor Dashboard. The online Exhibitor Search is the directory for the show and, as an exhibitor, you are automatically included in the online directory (Exhibitor Search) and printed Show Guide. The PACK EXPO International and Healthcare Packaging EXPO Show Guide lists only exhibiting company names and booth numbers. All other information you wish to convey to attendees about your company should be added to your online company profile.

    Login information will be sent to the Exhibitor Show Contact. Once you have received the ID & Password, you can log in to the Exhibitor Dashboard and begin populating your company description, vertical markets, product categories and more.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    Your 25% deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellations received after April 17, 2020 and prior to June 22, 2020, the exhibitor will forfeit any monies paid to date, up to 75% of the total booth price. Any cancellations received after the final June 22, 2020 payment deadline will forfeit 100% or all monies paid to date. For details, see the Rules & Regulations.

  • Per the European Union GDPR regulations, is it legal to contact attendees for marketing purposes if they have allowed an exhibitor to scan their badge?

    Yes, if an attendee allows an exhibitor to scan their badge, then he/she is giving permission to be contacted.

Attendee Questions

  • How much does registration cost?

    Badge registration is $30 through October 9 and $100 after (including onsite registration). Your badge provides access to both PACK EXPO International and Healthcare Packaging EXPO.

  • Will my badge be mailed to me?

    If you register early enough, yes. We will begin mailing badges in October. In order to receive your badge in the mail, international attendees must register on or before October 9; attendees from the U.S. must register on or before October X9 After these dates, you will need to pick up your badge in Chicago.

  • What are the age restrictions at PACK EXPO International?

    No person under the age of 14 is allowed on the show floor, before, during or after the show. No strollers or carried infants are allowed on the show floor.

  • Can spouses attend the show?

    Yes, spouses can attend the show free of charge.
